GRIT SEPARATORS

The inorganic impurities (sand, pebbles, clinker, and others) cause blocking of the pumps, diffusers and screens present during the biological and chemical treatment of the waste water. The grit separator is used for the separation of the inorganic matter bigger than 0,2 mm from the waste waters.
The water enters the grit remover where the sand and other bigger particles are separated. The accumulated inorganic particles are eliminated from the system with the screw grit separator.

The grit separator is made of AISI 314 or AISI 316 stainless steel according to the characteristics of the waste waters.

MECHANICAL SCREENS

The mechanical screens are used to retain the solid particles and bigger objects, entering with the incoming waters. This is the first stage in the water treatment process. Through them is ensured the faultless work of the following technological equipment.

SCREENS WITH MANUAL CLEANING

Static screen

The static screen is installed in the entrance canal of the treatment plant and their cleaning is done manually with the help of a rake. In the back part there is a container for the screenings. The distance between the bars vary from 10 to 30 mm. The screen can be made from stainless or galvanized steel depending on the requirements of the customer. The frequency of cleaning depends on the contamination of the incoming waste waters.

Screen basket type

These types of screens are used in small treatment plants. The basket screens are mounted at a desired distance by a sliding system built in the wall. The screen can be made from stainless steel as standard, as well as from galvanized steel or such with an epoxy cover.

AUTOMATIC CLEANING SCREENS

Vertical automatic screens

The automatic vertical screen is used for the mechanical treatment of the incoming waters. They are built in the entering canal, their height depends on the size of the canal. The collected in the screen mechanical impurities through an elevation system with a comb cleaner are thrown out in a container for screenings. The standard distance between the bars is 10-30 mm, but if required by the customer could be made finer. The linear automatic screens are placed in deep canals, where there is no limitation for the height of the canal. The working mode of the screen can be manual, controlled by time or depending on the quantity of entering water (by level).
According to the needs of the customer the vertical automatic screen can be made of stainless steel, galvanized material or steel with an epoxy cover.

Curved automatic screen

The curved automatic screen consists of chassis, fixed rods of the screen, motor-gear, two devices comb like for the cleaning connected with the main axis and two sets of rubber cleaning parts. In the back of the screen is situated a small collecting container, where the screenings are collected and can be scooped up by hand or automatically by a screw press. The standard distance between the bars is 10-30 mm.

The curved automatic screen is made from stainless steel, from galvanized material or from carbon steel with a cover as required by the customer.

Automatic conveyor screen

The automatic conveyor screen is used in the case of high waste water flow with high contamination.
The rake is activated through the movement of the motor gear to the chain system. The working of the screen is controlled by time or by level.
The effectiveness of gathering of the solid particles is very high. It is usually installed in a canal with a suitable slope. It is self cleaning by a system of nozzles and spinning brushes.
The produced conveyer screens are from AISI 314 or AISI 316 stainless steel depending on the characteristics of the flowing waters. The screen comb is made from PP material.

MIXERS

The mixers are used to homogenize and equalize the different types and content of the water streams and chemical solutions.
When choosing a mixer, into consideration should be taken the volume and the geometrical structure of the reservoir or pool, the number and situation of the pumps, the viscosity and density of the fluids, the required speed of mixing and the formation of the desired type of the flow.
The mixers are divided into three types: fast, slow and static.

Fast mixers

The fast mixer is used most often when dosing different chemical reagents in water, it’s use being to secure a good mixing and the full running of the different processes in the reactors and the reactor chambers.
They are made of AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel depending on the characteristics of the water and its corrosivness.

Slow mixers

The slow mixers are used in installations for preparation and dozing of polyelectrolytes (flocculants), in the reactors for flocculation, sludge thickeners and denitrification zones of the aeration tanks.
Their speed varies from 20 to 50 r.p.m.
They are made of AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel depending on the characteristics of the water and its corrosivness.

Static Mixers

The static mixers are used for inline (mixing of the streams) mixing of chemical reagents and waste waters, sludge and others before they enter the follow-up equipments (settling tanks, flotators, equipment for sludge dewatering and others).
They are made of stainless steel AISI 304, AISI 316 or PVC with polypropylene spiral depending on the requirements of the customer.

OIL REMOVER (GREASE REMOVER)

The oil removers are used to eliminate the oils and greases from the waste waters in factories, oil refineries, gas stations, restaurants and petrol stations.

The system works using the difference in the density of the oil fractions and the water.
The water-oil emulsion enters the oil remover and as the density of both liquids is different, the oil emerges to the surface. The formed oil layer is separated by hand or by tuned overflow drain depending on the loading.

These equipments have a simple construction, high reliability and are easy to cleaning.
The oil removers are made from polypropylene.

DISK STRAINER

The disk strainers is used for the removal of the suspended particles /textile fibres, paper fibres, plastic parts and others / in the waste waters and are with high filtration performances. Due to this the wear out and occlusion of the pumps and pipelines is reduced to minimum. They are self cleaning. Their capacity varies from 15 to 280 m³/h.
The disk strainers are used in different field of the industrial sector such as textile, recycling of plastics and wood processing industry.
The size of the openings of the screen disks vary from 100 to 2000 microns for the different field of application. Due to the density of the screen, the disk strainers have a very high efficiency in the separating of the suspended particles from the waste waters.
The disk strainers work in totally automatic mode. They are made of AISI 314 or AISI 316 stainless steel depending on the characteristics of the waste waters.

FLOATING AERATORS (HIGH SPEED SELF ASPIRATION SPIRAL AERATORS-AEROJET)

High velocity aerojets are used for the securing of oxygen, needed for the support of the vital functions of the microorganisms in the biological treatment systems. These equipments insure the transfer of oxygen through aspiration of air from the atmosphere and producing of fine bubbles under the water surface with the assistance of a spiral propeller.

The high speed aerojets consist of an electric motor above the surface of the water, a chassis, submerged in the water at a slope of 35-40º, made of stainless steel and spiral propellers providing for the dispersion of the air.

Depending on the used technology, aerojets can be installed static or on pontoons. The depth for submerging can be controlled, which assures better mixing (dispersion) of the air in the aeration tanks. The high velocity aerojets have a very quiet regime of work and are mounted and dismantled very easily. Their working mode is automatic, so upon reaching the necessary quantity of oxygen in the tank they turn off. The used electric motors are from SIEMENS.
